Cristiane Chaves Gattaz is an Associate Researcher at the University of Texas at Austin, working at the Moody College of Communication and the IC2 Institute, where she obtained her master's degree in Science & Technology Commercialization (2002) and was Visiting Scholar (2017-2018). She has English as her first language, she has a PhD in Production Engineering from POLI / USP (2010), a post-doctorate from Embrapa Instrumentação (2015), Member of the Board and Research Fellow of the Society for Design and Process Science (SDPS) / Software Engineering Society (SES) and Associate Member of the Academy of Management (AOM), IEEE, ANPAD and ABEPRO. Supervises the impact of governance, organizational communication and technology in public and private environments on increasing corporate leadership. Observes the strategic management aspects of the transfer, commercialization, adoption and socialization of the innovation results of individuals, teams and communities, involved in entrepreneurial ecosystems. Knowledge Management, Advocacy and Persuasion, Intelligent Design and Processes, Chronemics (time study), Social Network Analysis, Digital Marketing, Crowdfunding and Information and Communication Technologies are some of the main topics in undergraduate, graduate and extension programs in Administration in the field of Governance, Organizational Communication and Technology and in Engineering, in a transdisciplinary way, using qualitative approaches (techniques for developing categories and descriptive observation) as well as quantitative ones (measurement, behavioral science). In partnership with Top 10 Schools of Engineering, Art and Design in the world such as University of California, University of Texas, Dell Medical School, University of Tromso, Norway, its performance in teaching, research and extension in the area has resulted in the annual organization of international technical-scientific events, in 10 software registers, articles, book and book chapters, media, funded projects, guidelines, technological products, titles and awards, nationally and internationally. She is also a referee and associate editor of international impact journals. These themes have also been applied since 1998 as an entrepreneur and consultant in more than 1500 public and private companies that are leaders in the international high-tech market, essentially in the sectors of Software, Telecommunications, Agriculture, Health, Banking, Aerospace, Education and Defense. Her accumulated experience has also been applied to her participation in Boards of Directors of private organizations. Is a relevant Hub that promotes the ecosystem of S, T & I and Communication in Brazil and the insertion in the international ecosystem, in cooperation with Research Centers and governmental agencies of promotion and management such as Embrapa, CTI Renato Archer, NASA, Design Institute for Health, Center for Management and Strategic Studies (CGEE), Ministry of Planning of Brazil (MP), Ministry of Human Rights of Brazil (MDH), Federal Senate of Brazil, FAPESP, CAPES, CNPq, National Science Foundation (NSF), UNESCO Center for Peace, Delegation of the European Union.
