Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biology and Biotechnology from the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg (Germany) (2011) and Postdoctoral research in Pharmaceutical Sciences at USP-RP (2013). Possesses expertise in the field of bioactive natural products and plant tissue culture. The main areas of expertise are related to in vitro biological studies involving human, animal, and plant cell cultures, as well as in vivo research and investigation of potential extracts and bioactive molecules with pharmacotherapeutic action for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory disorders, as well as molecular processes in tissue repair, wound healing, and skin aging."
