Birthplace: Brazil

Aeronautical Engineer with a Master's and Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), with international experience at Virginia Tech (USA). Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Forza Composites, with extensive experience in business management, new product development, application of project management concepts in RD and innovation, and fundraising for RD initiatives. Possesses expertise in Polymer Composites, Lightweight Structures, and Advanced Materials. From 2016 to 2022, served as a senior researcher at the Institute for Technological Research (IPT), leading significant projects such as the development of superplastic forming processes for satellite tanks, automotive composite materials projects funded by EMBRAPII, and the creation of coated tube preservation systems for onshore and offshore pipelines, resulting in a patent and the 2020 Petrobras Inventor Award. Also coordinated international projects with the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany and participated in initiatives funded by FINEP and EMBRAPII in partnership with companies such as EMBRAER, IOCHPE-MAXION, and Gerdau Graphene. At Forza Composites, leads projects focused on the development of special carbon nanotube sensors and composite pressure vessels for the energy transition sector. Has structured projects in collaboration with companies and institutions such as Texiglass, Embraer, ITA, and Petrobras, with funding from FINEP and FAPESP, covering technologies at various levels of technology readiness (TRL 4 to 7). Key projects include the development of graphene-enhanced carbon fiber prepregs, structural health monitoring sensors, and the development of Type IV composite pressure vessels for the storage of renewable fuels (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
