He has a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) in 2014, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Masanori Aikawa and Prof. Dr. Toshiaki Nakano. He is a full member of the Brazilian Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SOBED) and Scientific Editor of the journal Endoscopia Terapêutica (https://endoscopiaterapeutica.net/).
