Majored in Philosophy at the Federal University of Paraíba (2006), has a Master's degree in Philosophy from the State University of Campinas (2009), and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (2015). During her PhD studies, she had a research internship at Florida State University (BEPE scholarship, from FAPESP) under the supervision of Dr. Alfred Mele (FSU). She currently is an administrator of the Brazilian Network of Women Philosophers, she is also vice-president of SBFA and a member of the research group Writing Group for Women in Philosophy (GEMF) - CNPq research directory: http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/ 1647671104791846. She is currently an professor in the Department of Philosophy at UFMT, she is part of the permanent staff in the postgraduate program in philosophy at UFMT - PPPGFIL UFMT and she is a collaborator in the postgraduate program in philosophy at UFPE. Her areas of interest are especially Philosophy of Action, Free will and Moral Responsibility, Philosophy of Mind and Philosophy of Neuroscience. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
