I am a geographer with a Master's and PhD in Human Geography from the University of São Paulo (FFLCH/USP), and a project management MBA from ESALQ/USP. I have experience in the socio-environmental field, conducting research and consultancy on topics involving indigenous territories and processes of territorial autonomy on a Latin American scale.I have completed research internships in the United Kingdom (2022, Queen Mary University of London/QMUL), Mexico (2021 and 2013, CIALC/National Autonomous University of Mexico), and Argentina (2010, National University of La Plata), and have also gained fiejavascript:void(0)ld experience in indigenous territories in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala.I am the author of the book "Geography of Autonomy: The Experience of Zapatista Territorial Autonomy in Chiapas, Mexico" (Ed. Elefante 2025), and I am part of the research groups 'Rede DATALUTA' (Brazil), 'Latin American Geographies-UK' (United Kingdom), and 'Pueblos indígenas, autonomías y derechos colectivos' (CLACSO), where I co-organize the bulletin 'Autonomías Hoy: pueblos indígenas en América Latina'.I have skills in geoprocessing/Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and also in the audiovisual field, having done professional work in documentary filmmaking (Sendero Filmes).
