Danilo has a degree in Environmental Management from the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo (EACH-USP), a Master and a PhD in Human Geography from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP) in the research line Political Geography, Planning and Natural Resources associated with the Political Geography Laboratory and did a 6-month Sandwich Doctorate by the Institutional Program for Internationalization, funded by the CAPES, at the Arbeitsgruppe Entwicklungs- und Nachhaltigkeitsforschung (AGEF) of the Universität Innsbruck. He was a scholarship holder of the project Democracy, Arts and Plural Knowledges in which he acted as field supervisor in the action Bridges and Experiences of Knowledge and participated in the development of the webpage Censo Vizinhança USP. He is also a member of the Research Group on Public Policies, Territorialities and Society, the Study and Research Group on Political Psychology, Public Policies and Multiculturalism (GEPSIPOLIM), the Critical Environmental Education Group and the Study Group on Cartography and Geoprocessing (GEOCART).
