Abstract
Snake venom is composed of complex substances whose chemical composition and characteristics vary between different known species. The toxicity of the venom is due to the presence of enzymes and proteins, and varying concentrations which include: to neurotoxins, cytotoxins, cardiotoxins, and peptides.
