Paula de Camargo Fiorini

Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) in the Department of Production Engineering at São Paulo State University (Unesp Bauru Campus). She is a permanent faculty member in the Graduate Program in Production Engineering (PPGEP) at Unesp Bauru and in the Graduate Program in Management (PPGA-So) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar Sorocaba Campus). She also serves as a Visiting Research Fellow at The Open University in the United Kingdom through a collaborative research project. Currently, she is the Editor-in-Chief of the GEPROS Journal Production, Operations, and Systems Management, and an Advisory Board Member of the Journal of Open Innovation: Technology, Market, and Complexity. She completed a postdoctoral research internship at École de Management de Normandie (EM Normandie) Paris Campus, France, from May to July 2024, with funding from the Junior Visiting Professor Abroad program (CAPES-Print). She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at UFSCar Sorocaba Campus from 2019 to 2022. She holds a Ph.D. in Production Engineering from Unesp Bauru Campus (December 2018), with a research exchange period at Montpellier Business School France (20172018). She earned her Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Unesp Bauru Campus (2015), which included an exchange period at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology Canada (2014), and was an undergraduate research fellow supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Her research focuses on the broad area of sustainable operations combined with technology and information systems, with results published in internationally recognized journals such as Management Decision, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Information Management, and Journal of Cleaner Production.
