I have a Bsc in Biological Sciences and and an MSc in Plant Biology from the São Paulo State University. I am currently a PhD student in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the University of Campinas in the Genomics for Climate Change Research Center. In my PhD project, I am studying two native plant species from the campos rupestres that differ in their drought tolerance strategies. To do this, I am using comparative genomics and transcript expression profiling tools in order to identify genomic traits associated with their respective phenotypes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
