Katia Romero Felizardo holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a masters degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). During her Ph.D., she completed a sandwich internship at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Subsequently, she completed two postdoctoral fellowships, the first at USP and the second at Northern Arizona University, United States.She is currently the Director of Graduate and Research at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Cornélio Procópio campus, where she also serves as a full professor in the Graduate Program in Computer Science. She is a level 2 Research Productivity Fellow at CNPq and has a solid track record in Computer Science, with an emphasis on Evidence-Based Software Engineering. Her research focuses on secondary studies, particularly on improving systematic literature review and systematic mapping processes, topics that led to the publication of a book and earned her national and international recognition.An author of over 130 publications in journals and conferences in the field, with more than 2,500 citations, she also serves as a reviewer for scientific committees of high-impact journals and conferences in both Brazil and abroad.Beyond her distinguished academic career, Katia is the mother of Anna, her greatest achievement and source of pride.
