Was affiliated medical doctor at Universidade Federal de São Paulo from 2008 until 2011, acting as supervisor of geriatric residents in training mostly on the following subjects: hospitalist medicine, Alzheimer's dementia, frailty, and palliative care. Has a masters degreee in research in neurosciences and cognition in the field of neural molecular biology, investigating de role of calcium in rat retina model of apoptosis and neurodegeneration.
