Fernanda holds a bachelor's degree in Geology (2010-2014) from the Institute of Geosciences (IGc) at the University of São Paulo (USP), and a master's (2015-2017) and a Ph.D. (2018-2022) in Geosciences from the same institution. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities (EACH) of the University of São Paulo, focusing her research on the climatic and sedimentary dynamics of the Amazon floodplains during the Quaternary.
