Since June 2016, I have been working as an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), affiliated with the Department of Computer Science (DCC). I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2016), during which I completed a one-year research internship at the Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (INRIA) in Lille, France. I also hold a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (2011).My academic and professional career is focused on the field of Computer Science, with emphasis on Software Product Lines, Reuse, Model-Driven Architecture (MDA), and Architecture-Driven Modernization (ADM). Currently, my research is dedicated to techniques such as refactoring, the identification and treatment of code smells, and the integration of these concepts with DevOps practices. I have published articles in leading journals such as IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering and Empirical Software Engineering. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
