Letícia Bianca Pereira

She holds a degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) (2011). She completed her master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology with an emphasis on Genetics of Microorganisms, from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2014), working mainly in the areas of environmental microbiology, soil microbial communities and large-scale sequencing. She completed her PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology with an emphasis on Genetics of Microorganisms, from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2018), working mainly in the areas of environmental microbiology, microbial communities of sugarcane rhizosphere and large-scale sequencing. She completed research internships at the National University of Ireland Galway (Advisor: Alexandre Barretto de Menezes). She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Plant Genetics and Immunology, at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (USP) (FAPESP-CNPQ), under the supervision of Prof. Paulo Teixeira. She is interested in the following areas: microbiome, plant-microorganism interaction, genetics of microorganism, environment and biocontrol. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
