Bachelor's and degree in History from the University of São Paulo (1991), master's (1988) and PhD in Social History - USP. Full Professor in the area of #8203;#8203;History of Sciences also from USP - FFLCH (2020). Professor at the Department of History and the Graduate Program in Social History at USP. Visiting Professor at the Department of Media Studies College of Arts and Science, University of Virginia, VA, USA (2024). She is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Revista de História - USP (2013-2016 and 2021-2025). She was coordinator of the Graduate Program in Social History - USP (2020-2022). She participates in the Advisory Board of the Brazilian Society for the History of Science (SBHC) and in the Deliberative Council of the Brazilian Association for Social Studies of Science and Technology - ESOCITE.BR. President of the SBHC for two terms (2012-2014 and 2014-2016); Vice-president (2017-2019) of ESOCITE.BR; Director of the Center for Research Support in History - CAPH "Sérgio Buarque de Holanda" of the FFLCH for three terms (2012-2014, 2014-2016, 2016-2018). Productivity Researcher at CNPq, working with Brazilian history, specializing in history of sciences, history of health and public health, history of higher education, history of the historiography of sciences and history of information technology.
