He is currently an Adjunct Professor (Level 1) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in the Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE). He works mainly on the following topics: Stability of Electrical Power Systems, Smart Grids and Dynamic Safety Assessment.
