She is a researcher at the Psychoanalysis and Society Research Centre at USP. Member of the Discourse Unit. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1994), a specialization in clinical psychology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1995), a master's degree in Health Care Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University (1999), and a doctorate in psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University (2005). Post doctorate from Manchester Metropolitan University (2009). She is an honorary research fellow at the Research Institute for Health and Social Change at Manchester Metropolitan University. She was a research fellow and lecturer (PRODOC/CAPES grants) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Conducted a post-doctoral research (FAPESP grants) at the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo in 2015. She was a researcher and professor (PNPD/CAPES scholarship) at the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo (2015-2020). She was councilor of the Regional Council of Psychology of São Paulo (2014-2016). Her research areas are epistemology, methodology, gender studies, post/decolonial studies and psychoanalysis.
