Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Psychology from UFS (2011), Master in Philosophy from the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy at Unicamp (2015) and PhD in Philosophy from the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy at UFS (2024). As a teacher he has worked in Psychology Departments: UniAGES (2015-2018), UFS (2018-2020) and UNINASSAU (2020-2021). As a psychotherapist he works from a phenomenological-existential perspective of inspiration. He is a founding partner of Alethéia Núcleo de Psicologia (@aletheia_psi), a company that offers a variety of services in the field of psychology: courses, clinical supervision, consultancy, etc. With regard to academic research, both in his master's degree and in his doctorate, he investigated the work of Descartes, with particular interest in the theme of pathologies, especially the theme of madness and melancholy in the Cartesian corpus. In general, he remains interested in the discussions that emerge from the interface between Philosophy and Psychology, based on three axes: (i) history and epistemological foundations of Psychology; (ii) the set of problems that emerge from the relationships between mind and body, health and illness, normal and pathological, reason and madness; and (iii) phenomenological psychopathology.
