Birthplace: Brazil

I work primarily in Brazilian Literature, with a special interest on the artistic productions from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Besides that, I am also concerned with studies in Literary Theory and Colonial issues. In 2013, I concluded my udergraduate research on poetry written by Castro Alves in the Program of Brazilian Literature at FFLCH-USP, advised by Prof. Dr. João Adolfo Hansen. That research was awarded an honorable mention at SIICUSP in 2013, and was elected one of the 10 best undergraduate researches developed at USP that year. Recently, I have completed my Masters' Degree also in the Progrem of Brazilian Literature at FFLCH-USP, with a research on Alvarenga Peixoto and the poetry from Luzo-Brazilian Arcadism. That dissertation was approved with distinction, praise and was recommended for publication in 2017, resulting on the book "Obras Poéticas de Alvarenga Peixoto" [Poetic Works of Alvarenga Peixoto], published by Ateliê Editorial in 2020. Both my masters' degree and my undergraduate research were funded by FAPESP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
