Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of São Paulo (1991), Master in Medicine (Preventive Medicine) from the University of São Paulo (2000), Ph.D. in Medicine (Preventive Medicine) from the University of São Paulo (2005) and MBA in Business Analytics and Big Data by FGV. He worked as a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo from 1995 to 2021, having worked intensively in the institution's academic activities both in the undergraduate course (Epidemiology, Statistics and Public Health) and in the postgraduate program in Public Health. He held the position of head of the Department of Public Health from 2017 to 2019 and contributed to the process of structuring and accrediting the college's distance education at the MEC and implementation of Emergency Remote Teaching coordinating the distance learning area 2017 to 2021,He has extensive experience in the development of research and consulting projects in the field of Public Health, with an emphasis on Epidemiology, Data Analysis and Health Education. He has scientific production in living conditions, social inequalities, migration and health, physical activity, vaccination coverage and HIV-AIDS.
