Graduated in Bachelor of Chemistry from the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (1993) and master's (2001), PhD (2004) and post-doctorate (2005) in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (São Paulo/SP). Between 2018/2019 he worked as a visiting researcher at Manchester Metropolitan University (Manchester United Kingdom). He is currently a Full Professor and one of the coordinators of the research center in electroanalytical of the Chemistry Institute of the Federal University of Uberlândia. He is the author or co-author of more than 251 articles in specialized journals (over 10000 citations and H factor 55 - Google Scholar) and 04 book chapters. He has a partnership with the Metrohm DropSens company (Llanera - Asturias - Spain) for the commercialization of a portable system developed in our research group and called BIASPE cell (Batch Injection Analysis cell for screen printed electrodes; http: //www.dropsens. com / en / accesories_pag.html; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2XqLr_CyXk). He has experience and works in the field of chemistry, with emphasis on Analytical Chemistry (Electroanalytic and Capillary Electrophoresis), working on the following topics: Capillary electrophoresis with contactless conductivity detection (CE-C4D), Batch Injection Analysis (BIA), Development of electrochemical methods with portable features and boron doped diamond electrodes. Since 2019, he has been working as an associate editor of the scientific journal Química Nova maintained by the Brazilian Chemical Society. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
