Presently working as intern of Research and Development in Pilot Scale Research at Rhodia (Solvay Group). Experienced also in processing and stabilziation of polymers and in the assessment of transport and chemical fate of persistent organic pollutents. Expected graduation on December 2015. Work experiences at both university and industry in Brazil and at a consulting company in Canada. Experienced in different fields such as polymers processing, chemical environmental fate modelling and pilot scale research. Familiar with the use of basic Chemistry laboratory techniques and instrumentation (such as spectrometry and chromatography) acquired through graduation. Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and the software Origin for graphic plots and calculations. In this project the stabilizing activity of eucaliptus lignin towards polyolefins will be investigated. Eucaliptus lignin has a high concentration of chemical groups with antioxidant activity, in comparison to other vegetal species.
