Caleb C. Martins graduated in Biological Sciences, by the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho in Jaboticabal (2010), Master of Science and PhD with specialization in Entomology by the Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP), Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Carryied out a post-doctoral at Instituto de Biología-Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Biodiversity, Institute of Biosciences, Universidade Estadual Paulista, Rio Claro Campus, SP, and coordinates the Laboratory of Biodiversity and Systematics of Insects (LBSI). Collaborating professor at the Postgraduate Program in Entomology (FFCLRP, USP, Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo), secretary and member of the Board of the International Association of Neuropterology (IAN) and coordinator responsible for Megaloptera in the Taxonomic Catalog of Fauna of Brazil,co-coordinator of Neuroptera and Megaloptera of the international consortium infraFADA (Freshwater Animal Biodiversity Assessment). He has experience in Zoology with an emphasis in Zoology of Invertebrates, mainly in the following areas: entomology, biological control, evolution, taxonomy and systematics on insects, especially with the superorder Neuropterida.
