Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (2011) from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul, a Master's degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics (2014) from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (FCT/UNESP), and a PhD in Science (2020) from the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering at Poli-USP. She completed her postdoctoral research at the Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI) and is currently an Associate Researcher at Imperial College London. Since her PhD, she has been conducting research on sensitivity analysis, utilising the continuous adjoint method and adjoints generated by automatic differentiation, with applications in fluid dynamics, fluid-structure interaction, and inverse problems. She is also part of the development team of Firedrake, a software used for solving differential equations via the finite element method. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
