PhD in Nuclear Technology from the Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares - USP (2005). Master in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1995). Chemical Engineer from the Escola Politécnica da Unisversidade de São Paulo (1981). Bachelor in Physics from the Instituto de Física da Universidade de São Paulo (1980). Worked for Chemical Industries in the private sector for over 35 years, acting in Operations Management and being responsible for Research in Electrical Insulating Enamels and Varnishes. Extensive experience in the development, laboratory synthesis, scale-up of polymerization processes especially Polyimides, Polyester Imides, Polyesters, Polyurethanes, Isocyanate Adducts, Epoxy Adducts, Alkyd Resins, Phenolic Resins and many others. From 2019 to the present date he is the owner of CHEM4U - Indústria e Comércio de Equipamentos e Produtos Químicos Ltda. The principal works are mainly in Nanotechnology, resins, varnishes, quaternary ammonium salts, and additives for modification of PET, PP, HDPE, and LDPE. also working in UV-curing resins, Biotechnology, Composites, and Microbicidal Materials. Academically, he holds the position of Associate Researcher at the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Juliano Alves Bonacim.
