Julia is currently a researcher at NATS at the Botucatu School of Medicine at UNESP and a professor at the Postgraduate Program in Clinical Research at FMB/UNESP, and medical coordinator at the Center for Health Technology Assessment at Unimed do Brasil (NATS UB). She graduated from the Botucatu School of Medicine - Unesp in 2014 and completed her residency in Clinical Medicine at the Botucatu School of Medicine - Unesp (2015) and additional year at the Hospital das Clínicas of the School of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (USP) (2018). He defended his master's degree in Clinical Research at the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu - Unesp in 2018. During 2019, he received the German Chancellor Fellowship for prospective leaders from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to carry out a research project at the Institute of Health and Economics and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Cologne, Germany (Institut für Gesundheitsökonomie und Klinische Epidemiolgie IGKE), where he then completed his MD-PhD in health sciences from the University of Cologne.
