Holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Institute of Economics at the University of Campinas (1999), a master's degree (2003), and a PhD (2009) in Economic History from the same institution, having completed a doctoral research internship at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in 2006. Currently an associate professor at the University of Campinas, teaching the courses General Economic History (CE191) and Brazilian Economic Development (CE491) at the undergraduate level, and Methods in Economic History, General and Brazilian Economic Historiography, and Interpretations of Brazil at the graduate level. The main research focus is the History of Economic Historiography, particularly the development of the disciplinary field of Economic History within national historiographical traditions such as Brazil, Italy, and France. Currently serves as the Head of the Department of Economic History and Policy at the Institute of Economics at Unicamp and Vice President of the Brazilian Economic History Association.
