Birthplace: Brazil

Obtained her bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas, Brazil (2015). In 2015, started her studies in plant microbiome area at the Center for Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering (CBMEG), Unicamp, by integrating The Saccharome Project (2015-17), which described the microbial communities of a commercial variety of sugarcane and constructed a microbial collection representative of these plants. In this period, gained experience in plant-microbiome interactions, focusing on the construction of synthetic microbial communities, the development of inoculation methods and in the analisys of microbial dynamics along plant organs. Holds a MSc degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Unicamp (2018) for describing the microbial profile and dynamics of soybean plants inoculated with a synthetic microbial community.
