Tilde Rodrigues Froes

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the State University of Londrina (1995), with a master's degree (2001) and a doctorate (2004) in Veterinary Surgery from the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Advanced Imaging Diagnostic Techniques for Companion Animals at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Computed Tomography (Senior CAPES Fellow - 2014/2015).Currently, she is a Full Professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), where she conducts research in Veterinary Imaging Diagnosis, focusing on ultrasound, radiology, and computed tomography in dogs, cats, and horses. She has extensive experience in mentoring researchers and professionals, having supervised 19 masters dissertations and six doctoral theses. She is an advisor in the Graduate Program in Veterinary Sciences (CAPES 6) and supervises residents in Imaging Diagnosis at the Veterinary Hospital of UFPR (MEC - HV UFPR).She is the founder of LADIVET (Veterinary Imaging Diagnosis Study League), an initiative integrating teaching and outreach activities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in Veterinary Imaging Diagnosis. Currently, she coordinates and heads the Imaging Diagnosis Service at the Veterinary Hospital of UFPR.She has published numerous articles in national and international journals and has presented abstracts at symposia, congresses, and conferences.
