Anderson Chaves Carniel is an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos. He was an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná from February 2019 to December 2020. He received the PhD in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo. His Master degree in Computer Science is from the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil, obtained in 2014. His research interests include spatial databases, extensible databases, spatial indexing, data warehousing and OLAP, spatial fuzziness, and spatial databases on emerging storage devices.
