Master in Communication at the Fluminense Federal University (2004-2006), with scholarship granted by CNPq. PhD in Communication and Culture at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2007-2011), with scholarship granted by CNPq. Between 2009 and 2010, part of his PhD. research was developed at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), with a Sandwich type scholarship granted by CAPES. In 2012, his PhD thesis received the 1st Creative Economy Award, awarded by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture. Between 2012 and 2015, he conducted a Postdoctoral research at the Communications and Arts School of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP), with scholarship granted by FAPESP. Between 2016 and 2020, he had a scholarship for post-doctoral research, type PNPD (CAPES), at the School of Communications at the Rio de Janeiro State University (FCS-UERJ). His publications address topics such as: music industry, digital audiovisual industry, political economy of communication and culture, cultural policies, financialization of everyday life, financial market and information technologies.
