Physics Teacher in High School from March 1980 to December 2008. Since 2009, PhD Professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the State University of Campinas (FCA/Unicamp). Currently, Associate Professor (Livre-Docente) linked to the same institution and to the postgraduate programs in Multimedia at the Institute of Arts at Unicamp and Interdisciplinary in Applied Human and Social Sciences (FCA-Unicamp). Degree in Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and Mathematics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campina (Puccamp/1989), a Master's degree in Education from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp/1995) and a PhD in Social Sciences (Unicamp/2007). Post-Doctorate (Université Paris-1 - Sorbonne/2014) in Cinema and Perception of Science, research funded by CAPES. He has experience in the areas of Physics, Cinema and Philosophy of Science, with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity in education, working mainly on the following themes: Physics, Philosophy of Science, Cinema and Public Perception of Science. He is the author of the books: Humanities and Natural Sciences (org.) (Editora da Unicamp, 2021), Physics in High School - Teacher's Book (Papirus, 2021), Trama Matemática (Papirus, 2012), Physics: Einstein for Teaching High School (Papirus, 2009) and Physics: Newton for High School (Papirus, 2002).
