Mara de Andrade Marinho

Associate Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, State University of Campinas. Bachelor in Agronomy (University of São Paulo, 1979), Ms. in Agronomy/ Soil and Plant Nutrition (USP/ Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz, 1991), PhD in Agronomy/ Soil and Plant Nutrition (USP/ Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz, 1999) and post-doctorate in geophysics and proximal sensing of soils (Universidade da Coruña, 2012). Since 2002 develops her academic activities at UNICAMP/ FEAGRI in Agronomy and Agricultural Engineering, with emphasis on Pedometry, Soil Physics, Soil Management and Conservation and Proximal Sensing of Soils, developing studies and researches and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students on the following themes: soil structural quality evaluation in agricultural systems, soil sampling optimization to site-specific crop management, erosion modeling, land evaluation and land use planning, geotechnologies applied to studies of the environment.
