Luís Eduardo Vergueiro Loures da Costa

Bachelor's at Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1984), Master of Science at Materials Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA- 1990) and Doctor in Engineering in Composite Materials from Rheinish-Westfälische Technische Hochschule-Aachen (1996), acting on the following subjects: cubesats, microsatellites, launch vehicles, atmospheric reentry satellites, wounded structures, pressure vessels, apogee motors and carbon fibers structures. Dr. Loures was the manager of the Atmospheric Reentry Satellite (SARA) and the Microsatellite Launch Vehicle (VLM). Nowadays he works as professor at ITA, beeing the manager of ITASAT2 and Selenita and head of the Aerospace Systems Department of ITA. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
