Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of São Paulo (Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas / DLCV). Graduate (1999), Master's (2003) and PhD (2008) from the same university. And also the Livre-docente degree, since 2019. Research visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin (Madison, USA) during PhD and during Post-Doc (2012-3). Has experience in Greek Language and Literature, focusing on Literature, acting on the following subjects: archaic and late-archaic Greek melic poetry, archaic Greek poetry, Aphrodite's representation in Greek melic poetry, eroticism and myth in archaic Greek poetry. Has been publishing articles and books (4) mainly on archaic and late-archaic Greek melic poetry. And has received two awards for two books: one in Literary Critic/Theory (2o prize, Prêmio Jabuti) for the book on Aphrodite in Sappho ("Fragmentos de uma deusa: a representação de Afrodite na lírica de Safo, 2005, Editora da Unicamp); one in PhD Thesis Award (Honorary citation, Capes) for the book on Aphrodite in the other archaic poets, from Alcman to Anacreon ("Lira, mito e erotismo: Afrodite na poesia mélica grega arcaica", 2010, Editora da Unicamp). The two other books are anthologies with translations, notes, introductions, commentaries - one of Sappho's remaining poetry (Hedra, 2021, 2nd edition), the other of the 9 canonical melic or lyric poets of archaic Greece (Hedra, 2024, 2nd edition). Has continued the studies on Aphrodite in Pindar, publishing studies on this theme and others related to archaic and late-archaic melic or lyric poetry. Has organized and translated poems of archaic Greek elegy in partnership with Rafael Brunhara (UFRGS) (Editora Mnema e Ateliê Editorial, 2021). Has published A Ilíada de Homero: guia de leitura (2024, Mnema). And has published: with Bruno Costa, Editora ExMachina, the translation into Portuguese of Spoon River Anthology (2024), by Edgar Lee Masters, a work related to her intereste on classics reception). Forthcoming: Fragmentos de uma deusa (Editora Mnema, 2nd ed., prelo 2025) . Being prepared: guia de leitura da Odisseia (Mnema, 2025). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
