He holds MSc and PHD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1997). He is currently a technologist at the National Institute for Space Research, INPE, participating in the Brazilian Space Program, through performance in tests, with altitude simulation of satellite thrusters. Acquired experience in the area of Forest Resources and Forest Engineering during the work to achieve the master's degree, with an emphasis on Forest Biomass Energy while acting mainly on the following themes: burning, Amazon, deforestation, biomass and combustion efficiency. His doctorate was based on the measurement of the speed of displacement of ethanol-air flames, with different equivalence ratios and initial pressures. He has a postgraduate degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Strategic Management of Science and Technology in Research Institutes. His monograph was: "The Associated Laboratory and Combustion and Propulsion of INPE - greater technological integration in large institutional programs". (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
