Renata Carolina Zanetti Lofrano

Associate Professor III of the Departamento de Química da Universidade Federal de São João Del Rei - Campus Alto Paraopeba (DEQUI/UFSJ/CAP) since 2009 and permanent member of the Postgraduate Program in Technologies for Sustainable Development (PPGTDS) (2010) and collaborating member of the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering (PPGEQ). Graduated in Chemistry from the Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo (FFCLRP/USP) (1996), Master in Sciences from the from FFCLRP/USP (1998), PhD in Sciences from the FFCLRP/USP (2002) and postdoctoral fellow in the field of nanotechnology from the FFCLRP/USP (2004). She worked as a substitute professor at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) between 2005 and 2007. Has experience in the orientation of undergraduate and graduate students. She studies the reuse of glycerine, effluent from biodiesel production by transesterification, aiming the production of polymers and additives.
