Renata Piacentini Rodriguez

Associate Professor at the Federal University of Alfenas, Poços de Caldas campus and permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Environmental Science and Engineering. PhD in Hydraulic and Sanitation Engineering from the University of São Paulo and Master in Biotechnology from the State Suniversity of São Paulo. Specialist in wastewater treatment, with emphasis on the production of bioenergy through anaerobic process and metal removal using biosorbents. She worked as a guet researcher at Argonne National Laboratory in research involving the iron and sulfur cycle in acidogenic systems in partnership with the Environmental Biogeochemistry group. She develops projects in the area of #8203;#8203;ore bioflotation and consultancy in the area of #8203;wastewater treatment and bioenergy production.
