Rosa Lucia Simencio Otero

Rosa L. Simencio Otero is Postdoctoral fellow at the University of São Paulo (Brazil) where she received her Ph.D (Department of Materials Engineering) and MS degrees (Sao Carlos Institute of Chemistry). She is also graduated in Technologic Chemistry at the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho". Dr. Simencio Otero has extensive experience in chemical modification and thermo oxidative stability of vegetable oils, synthetic esters and biodiesel. Moreover, she also has large knowledge about steel heat-treating, quenching and tribology. Currently, Dr. Simencio Otero is collaboratiing professor by Talent Attraction Program (PART) from University of São Paulo and postdoc researcher at the Laboratory of Thermal Analysis, Electroanalytical and Solution Chemistry (LATEQS) of São Carlos Chemistry Institute (IQSC) under Prof. Dr. Éder T. G. Cavalheiro supervision . Dr. Simencio Otero is the author or coauthor of approximately 70 publications including technical papers and chapters of books.
