Marilia M. Pisani is an associate professor at the Center of Natural Sciences and Humanities of the Federal University of ABC. Graduated in anthropology and post-graduated in philosophy, her research involves the articulation between teaching and research, theory and practice, body and territory, writing and experience, through the mobilization of experimental practices of aesthetic education informed by the perspective of situated philosophies. Recent projects involve the translation of Herbert Marcuse's ecology texts, with support from the International Herbert Marcuse Society; the organization of a book on such texts, in partnership with guest professors and Creative Critical Theory conceived by prof. Savita Singh, from New Delhi; the collective translation of an essay by Donna Haraway; the undergraduate pedagogical practices, in articulation with educational spaces in the ABC Paulista; the research actions in agroecology with communities; the development of the research project "Feminisms of composting: practical implications of crossing borders between nature and culture" (2023 to 2025). Coordinates the Southeast hub of the network "Nexos: critical theory and interdisciplinary research - Southeast" since 2014; member of the Philosophy and Gender WG (ANPOF, 2016); of the Uirapuru Collective (UFABC, 2018); of the Esperança Garcia Center for Gender Studies (NEG-UFABC, 2019). She has participated in GEPEF (2019-2020), LATESFIP (2010-2014), and the Critical Theory and Education Group (UNESP, UNIMEP, UFSCar; 1999-2010). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
