Veterinarian graduated from Universidade Paulista. PhD in Chemical Oceanography from the Marine Organic Chemistry Laboratory at the Oceanographic Institute - University of São Paulo. Experienced in the development and execution of environmental conservation projects, rescue and rehabilitation of aquatic fauna. Involved in research projects funded by funding agencies on topics related to persistent organic pollutants and health issues. Completed international training at two institutions: the University of Florida and Sea World Adventure Parks. Author and reviewer of national and international scientific journals. Nominated by the Oceanographic Institute for the Capes Thesis Award in 2015 and for the Outstanding Thesis Award (5th edition) of the University of São Paulo in 2016. Coordinates veterinary medicine in environmental emergency events and at PMP-BC/ES as the veterinarian team coordinator at the BW Institute. She is also currently iGUi Ecology coordinator and vice president of the NGO BW Institute for the Conservation and Medicine of Marine Fauna. Has ICS 100, 200 and 300. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
