Graduated in Physical Education with a FAPESP scholarship for Scientific Initiation. Holds a direct PhD in Motor Sciences from São Paulo State University, funded by FAPESP. Currently an Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Alagoas, Institute of Physical Education and Sports. Serves as a Permanent Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition (PPGNUT), the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences (PPGCS), and the Associated Postgraduate Program in Movement Sciences (PAPGCM) at the Federal University of Alagoas.Coordinator of the Laboratory of Applied Sciences for Sports (LACAE - www.lacae.com.br) and Director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports. Dedicated to researching and developing methods for evaluating and prescribing sports training for high-performance athletes and those in training. Investigates the physiological, metabolic, molecular, and physical performance effects of chronic or acute physical stress interventions, with or without nutritional intervention.
