João Paulo Naldi Silva holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2006), Master (2010) and Doctor (2014) in Biological Sciences (Botany) from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP-Botucatu). He acted as a postdoctoral researcher at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC-2017) in Evolution and Diversity area (at the Carbon Metabolism Lab), and at the University of São Paulo (USP-2019) at the Redox Biology and Proteins Lab. He also acted as Production Supervisor at the Butantan Institute (2020), at the Strategic Nucleus for Poisons and Antivenoms (NEVAS) at the Arthropod Bioterium. He is currently a scientific researcher at the startup GreenLab Solutions, in the Products team for indoor plant cultivation. He has experience in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, and Arthropod development. Having already worked mainly on the following topics: seed biology, plant physiology, redox biology and heterologous protein expression, plant tissue culture, spider development.
