Currently Assistant Professor at the Faculdade de Etnodiversidade, Federal University of Pará, Campus Altamira. Biologist from the University of Taubaté, SP; Master in Sciences in Animal Biology, area of #8203;#8203;Ecology and Animal Behavior, at Universidade Estadual paulista (UNESP); PhD from the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisasa da Amazônia (INPA). Develops research in the areas of Natural History, Ecology, Zoology and Education in Science and Biology. Works mainly on the following subjects: Ecology of populations and communities, Zoology (taxonomy), Animal Behavior and Natural History (diet, reproduction, predation, communication); He is also interested in ethno-knowledge of traditional peoples, and in new methodologies of science and biology teaching, with the use of scientific knowledge associated with the use of everyday materials and places for education.
