Thaís Peixoto Gaiad Machado

Physiotherapist at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP in 1998. Specialist in Physiotherapy applied to Pediatric Neurology at UNICAMP (2000) and in Higher Education Teaching at UNIPAR (2003). Master (2006) and PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2009), with a sandwich internship at the University of Hannover - Germany. She has training in the Adult Bobath Concept by IBITA (2014) and clinical and academic experience in the areas of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on muscular dystrophies. She is currently Associate Professor I at the Department of Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri-UFVJM and Permanent Professor at the Postgraduate Program in Rehabilitation and Functional Performance-PPGReab / UFVJM.
