He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at the Federal University of Goiás (FAFIL-UFG), working at UFG since 2011, and is also a permanent professor in the Post-Graduation Program of FAFIL (PPGFil/UFG). He holds a research productivity scholarship (PQ) from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. He conducted postdoctoral research in the philosophy of photography as a visiting professor at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada), during 2019-2020. He graduated in Philosophy from the Federal University of Paraná (2004), obtained a master's degree in Philosophy from the same institution (2006), and completed a PhD in Philosophy from the Federal University of São Carlos (2011), with a stage at the Université Pierre-Mendès-France - Grenoble II in France (2010). Currently, he is the coordinator of the extension project "Laboratório de Pesquisa de Filosofia da Fotografia" (FAFIL/UFG), aiming to develop an analytical approach to the philosophy of photography and visual projects based on philosophical reflections. He was awarded the ANPOF 2006-2007 Prizes for Best Philosophy Dissertation in Brazil by the National Association of Graduate Studies in Philosophy (ANPOF) and Academic Highlight of the Year 2010 by UFPR. In addition, he is the author of several academic articles and book chapters on the philosophy of language, time, memory, and photography.
