Holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá (1999), a master's degree in Comparative Biology from the University of São Paulo (2003), and a PhD in Entomology from the same institution (2008). Currently, she is an Associate Professor I at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), Diadema campus, with interdisciplinary work in Biotechnology and Entomology. Her research focuses on the development of feed for social bees, the study of microorganisms associated with stingless bees, and the feeding behavior of these species.In Extension activities, she leads projects aimed at strengthening community-based associative arrangements by integrating sustainable practices such as meliponiculture. These initiatives combine environmental conservation with food security, emphasizing the use of social technologies to improve the quality of life in the communities served.She is a master's and doctoral advisor in the Graduate Program in Biotechnology and serves as deputy coordinator of the Accessibility and Inclusion Center (NAI) at Unifesp-Diadema. Her partnerships include governments, universities (both national and international), research institutes, and the private sector, incorporating global sustainable development goals (SDGs) into her initiatives.
