PhD in Sociology from the Federal University of Sergipe - UFS (2020), Master in Multimedia from the Institute of Arts of the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2012), and Journalism from the Federal University of Alagoas - UFAL (2008). She is a tenured professor in the Department of Social Communication (Dcos) of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) in the Advertising and Propaganda Course and Collaborating Professor of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Social Communication (PPGCOM) of the Federal University of Sergipe. She is interested in gender studies and power relations, cultural studies, identities and interethnic relations and the study of visualities in the most diverse areas of communication, as well as the problematization of images in the field of visual arts, advertising, journalism, cinema and social sciences.
