Graduated in Nursing, Specialist in Human Resources Management, PhD in Sciences and Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP). She completed her post-doctorate at the Coimbra School of Nursing (ESEnfC) - Portugal. She is an Associate Professor at EERP-USP. She has expertise in the areas of Suicidology, Psychiatric Nursing, Literacy and Technological Innovations for the Promotion of Mental Health and teaching in mental health. She is the Leader and Founder of the Laboratory for Studies and Research in Suicide Prevention and Postvention (LEPS) and Founder and Responsible for the Center for Education in Suicide Prevention and Postvention (CEPS). She is the President of the Inclusion and Belonging Committee of EERP-USP and Representative of EERP-USP on the Council of the Pro-Rectory of Inclusion and Belonging of EERP-USP. She was President of the Inclusion and Belonging Advisory Committee of the Ribeirão Preto Campus (2023-2025). She was President of the Rho Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International - Nursing Honor Society (2020-2021). She is a Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Psychiatric Nursing. She is a Professor responsible for subjects in the areas of Psychiatric Nursing in the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Bachelor's Degree and Degree in Nursing at EERP-USP. She was a Member of the Editorial Board of SMAD Electronic Journal Mental Health Alcohol and Drugs (2021-2024). She is a Member of the EERP-USP Editorial Support Center (CAEd). She was a Tutor of the Tutorial Education Program (PET-SESu-MEC) at EERP-USP (2022-2023). Provides consulting services to national and international scientific journals. Coordinator of the international cooperation agreement between EERP-USP and Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada. Has scientific production (articles in indexed journals, books and book chapters) and technological production (software and other resources for the production of mental health literacy) that stand out for their originality, innovation and broad repercussion (nationally and internationally). Has experience and leadership in coordinating projects funded by research agencies and in the training of human resources (post-doctorates, doctorates, master's degrees and others). Has supervised researchers from Brazil, British Guiana, Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Chile. Has coordinated and collaborated on research, extension and technological innovation projects with researchers from different national and international institutions (Portugal, Canada, British Guiana, Ecuador, Mexico, Scotland, Italy, United Kingdom, Colombia and Chile).
